“Children of Paradise,” a renowned French film made during the occupation in 1945, took its name from the theatrical term “paradis,” denoting the top floor of the balcony, where the cheapest seats were occupied by the poorest and most enthusiastic of spectators.
YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT MY CREATIVE WORK WITH CHRONICALLY ILL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH PURCHASING MY AFFORDABLE WORKS OF ART
I am an artist in residence at New Jersey hospitals, making art with chronically ill children, young adults and their families. We travel together from initial diagnosis, treatment, remission and often relapse. Together we explore the arts in the intimacy of their hospital room, making paintings, animations, books, reading poetry, sharing stories, listening to music and learning to dance while in bed. When children are actively dying they return home and many would choose to continue their self expression.
Your support, through the purchase of my work, will assist me in continuing to work with children and their families in their home environment for as long as they are able.
Great oceans of gratitude to the children, to name a few……
